The Hively Co is looking for content writer capable of writing, editing, and publishing content and copy for a variety of digital platforms, including websites, blogs, videos, email marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, and more.
Content Writer
Writing is your thing. Satisfaction for you means taking ideas and putting them into written form. You are excited to help people feel things and oohh and aahh over written mediums. You’re interested in serving multiple industries and have a heart of service.
This position’s primary focus is to partner with The Hively Co to provide our clients with written content (email sequences, lead magnets, website copy, etc). You’ll be responsible for learning about our clients and their audiences, assisting in the brainstorming process of their content, generating original written content, and may assist in other aspects of the creative process.
The Content Writer position might be PERFECT for you if you love writing, enjoy diverse audiences and “mixing it up”, maintain a balanced schedule, and are an organized self-starter with experience in a similar role.

About The Position
This position is currently part-time but will become full-time in the near future. Please don't apply if you manage your own agency. Our hope is that you will stay with the Hively Co. long term.
The Content Manager position will be entirely virtual with flexible hours, but a willingness to work between 8 and 5 EST for meetings and updates is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities
Our Content Writer will primarily be responsible for:
» Writing email sequences for our clients - like lead magnet nurture sequences, sales sequences, course member engagement sequences, and more.
» Writing website copy and including SEO on each landing page.
» Writing checklists, guides, template tools, and more that our clients use to offer their audience and grow their list.
» Writing video descriptions.
» Creating and brainstorming additional content with our clients.
» Engaging with The Hively Co team.
» Providing a quality experience for The Hively Co clients and offering outstanding professionalism.
Content Writer

The ideal candidate possesses the following strengths and skills:
» Past experience in a similar role.
» Ability to understand the needs associated with a project and the target audience.
» A strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities - we are service-providers and therefore you will have multiple projects you’re transitioning through.
» You’re a thinker and a doer. You don’t need to be told what to do — you’re innovative, resourceful, and able to anticipate what needs to get done.
» You must be a self-starter with the ability to be productive from your home office.
Getting distracted by Instagram = no bueno.
» A positive, high-energy attitude and get it done mindset that searches for solutions instead of focusing on struggles is essential. You think about your work in terms of outcomes and results, not hours worked.
» Receptiveness to feedback.
» Willingness to meet deadlines.
» A high level of professionalism and emotional maturity (we don't do drama here).
» Incredibly technically competent and current. You must understand how to manage the following systems:
» Working knowledge of Google Calendar + G Suite
» Working knowledge of Zoom meeting
» Working knowledge of ClickUp or similar project management softwares
» SEO research tools
